Quijo, actual name Qui'jozhx'metxpli, is a shapeshifting demon who, like many of his kind, participates in the constant war against devils from his home in the Abyss. A master illusionist, natural shapeshifter, and empath, he is peerless in his ability to infiltrate, seduce, and confound his enemies. He performs his chosen role with effortless ease, leaving him ample time for leisure and enjoyment.
Chances to corrupt new souls are rare and fleeting, and the lucky few demons to breach the mortal plane while the rift remains open treat the occasion as a vacation of sorts. Nonstop revelry, debauchery, and yes, procreation, are the top priorities until the incursion is met with swift retribution by a specialized, demon-hunting mage order. Quijo was able to seduce Evelyn into conceiving Muriat during one such trip, along with other mortal women across the realm, creating a host of half-demon offspring - Muriat, Perceval, and untold others.
Later, he would reunite with his son, after Muriat sought out information on the identity of his father and learned the method to summon him. The ensuing drunken debauchery resulted in the terrorizing of a local brothel and inn, a rather public tryst between father and son, and the activation of Muriat's demonic bloodline, resulting in his transformation into a full-blooded demon on the spot. The two were subsequently banished to the Abyss, where Quijo would help Muriat explore his newfound demonic abilities and impart his extensive knowledge of illusion magic.
